Believe it or not, we are halfway to the first reporting period. We hope that all of you are finding ZANGLE useful as a communication tool. Who doesn't need a little "Zangle Talk" at the dinner table? Love to hear that kids and parents are checking in on a weekly basis to review progress, and check on any missing work that needs to be addressed! Each Canis Major teacher will be sending home the actual ZANGLE report for midterms this week. We ask that you spend a few minutes reviewing those forms before signing. If there is any need to have a conference based on the report we would love to invite you into our team room at your convenience. Brenda Avery will be happy to set up a conference if you give her a call in the office. AND NOW A LIST!!!
1. Canis Major was the #1 CAN contributor in the Canned Food Drive. Thank you for your generosity.
2. Shirts are on the way. They should be here next week. BRING ON THE SPIRIT!
3. We hear that many of your printers are NOT working? We never have an issue with a student who lets us know ahead of time that they can't print at home... we just need to know this prior to the actual DEADLINE! Please send an e-mail or give us a note. We want these wonderful kids to be accountable... and not blame those innocent printers! :)
4. We would love to have a picture of your son/daughter with their CANIS MAJOR. Send all e-pics to Mrs. Wolcott. No Canis Major? Got a cat? Any critter will do.
