ORANGE FRIDAY!

As Quarter 1 comes to a close, we want to thank you ALL for an amazing start to our school year. This is an exceptional group of kids. We are proud of your effort thus far CANIS MAJOR students, and we appreciate how much you've grown and already changed. Week one, we had locker issues, binder issues, sitting in the wrong class issues... but now you are looking "LEGIT!"

Thanks to all of you who have made the effort to turn in LATE WORK using your orange sheets. It is an extra hoop to jump through...but the reward of doing the work, and NOT accepting a zero is a step in the right direction. Friday the 7th is ORANGE FRIDAY. We cannot accept any late work the last week of the quarter. Teachers have to wrap up the grades, and it is too difficult to add the "Hail Mary" papers at the end. We will be wearing orange to remind you all that the last week is sacred.

Do NOT rest in the 9th week. Take advantage of the last possible points you are earning in class. Show us how much you've grown and matured -- we are proud of you. Set goals for Quarter 2. Now you are seasoned 7th graders. YOU DON"T NEED ORANGE SHEETS! You've got organization... right?
